No booking, nevertheless, we were welcomed and seated. The menu was substantial, then we were shown and talked thru' the "fishes of the day." All good, what to have? We shared a monkfish tail, char-grilled to perfection and absolutely delicious. Side dishes were tasty and unusual......fennel....yummy. Had to have a pudding because everything else was so good. Suffice to say the rice pudding with damson jam didn't disappoint. The Tonix White Wine (with a little doodled label, by none other than, Tracey Emin!) was a perfect partner to our meal. Service exemplary, surroundings classy and relaxed. We know to book in future because they were turning people away shortly after we arrived and that was a quiet looking Wednesday evening..... Who knew? We do now. Thanks a bunch guys. x
