Jane Baxter:
A chance to experience the wonderful cooking of Jane Baxter. Jane has worked for a number of years as Head Chef at the famous Riverford Field Kitchens and has written 2 cookery books with a 3rd on it's way. She is a master of using seasonal ingredients and combining flavours that are a total delight and joy to eat. She is relaxed and fun and this evening will be a celebration of good local food cooked by Jane and Mitch. Early booking advised. £35 for 3 courses and aperitif
Bouillabaise night – a Taste of Provence – 5th October :
Enjoy baskets of wonderful crudités, steamed artichokes and grilled scallops & then the main event - Bouiilabaise served in the traditional style. The fish is first cooked in a rich broth which is served first & the fish filleted at the table & served with aioli & potatoes. A wonderful experience. £60 per person – to include aperitivo, anti pasti & 3 courses.

Fruit de Mer & Muscadet Party - 8th August:
Shellfish galore –platters of crab, lobster, crevettes, oysters & all the shellfish we can lay our hands on – plus Muscadet & Brittany Cider. £60 per person includes ½ a bottle of Muscadet.
Lunch with Fergus Henderson & Mitch Tonks:
The great Fergus Henderson of St Johns Restaurant in London will be joined by his long term business partner and wine expert Trevor Gulliver and also Mitch Tonks to host lunch at RockFish. A really special one-off occasion not to be missed. Revered by chefs & critics as a master of simple, honest eating without pretension, Fergus's lunch promises to be a convivial and entertaining visit. £35 a head for 3 courses & a glass of Prosecco. Early booking advisable.
Tuscan Food with Mitch Tonks & wine producer Michelle Satta 19th May :
An evening hosted by Mitch Tonks, sommelier Tim McLaughlin-Green and Tuscan wine producer Michelle Satta one of Tuscany’s rising stars & producer of the some of the finest wines in Bolgheri. £60 – aperitivo, anti pasti & four courses (wines excluded)
Somerset Life & Mitch Tonks Lunch:
We hope you can join us for a fabulous seasonal seafood lunch cooked up by head chef Jake Platt and Mitch Tonks to celebrate all the wonderful fish and seafood from Brixham in South Devon accompanied by the freshest local seasonal vegetables and fruits. Mitch will be joined by Somerset Life editor Natalie Vizard and they will introduce the menu and the magazine have plenty of time for questions and chat.
Cost is £30 a head for lunch and a welcome glass of Prosecco & a goodie bag from Somerset Life.

Mitch Tonks & Xanthe Clay Evening :
Enjoy an evening of seafood inspiration when RockFish’s own Mitch Tonks is joined by author & Telegraph journalist Xanthe Clay on 7th October to host a special 3 course dinner including a glass of Prosecco. £35 a head cooked by head chef Jake Platt. Xanthe, who has already done a guest chef night at Mitch's restaurant in Dartmouth, The Seahorse, said, "I'm thrilled to be coming as guest chef to Rockfish - it's a real honour to work with such a talented team and with ingredients that are second to none. And Mitch is such a generous, welcoming host that everyone's bound to have a great time."

Xanthe has wriitten a food column for the Telegraph for over 10 years and has also penned several cookery books including her latest gem "10 Minutes to Table" which is all about cooking fabulous food without spending hours over it. Join Mitch and Xanthe for an intimate evening and share their passion for good food and great local ingredients.

11am Wednesday 22nd Sept - free 15 minute masterclass with Neil in the fishmongers - learn how to prepare and clean squid and make a simple supper of south coast bay squid fried with garlic, chilli and olive oil. No booking required.
Learn Fish - Baked Scallops :
11am Wednesday 15th Sept - Free 15 minute session learning how to put together a stunning little starter or main course of baked scallops with garlic butter & breadcrumbs plus plenty of other advice and tips on buying and cooking shellfish.
